Police: Man With Handgun Steals Car

Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for a man responsible for stealing a woman's car at gunpoint in the Still Meadows neighborhood on Thursday night.

Police said they responded shortly after 10 p.m. and spoke with a 37-year-old woman who said she had parked her car on Still Meadows Drive and began walking to her house. The woman said she was then approached by a man carrying a handgun, and she handed over her car keys. 

The suspect then ran to the woman's car, a 2005 Nissan Maxima, and drove off. In the process, the suspect struck a Mercedes that had been parked nearby. 

Police did not provide a detailed description of the suspect, but said the stolen car had a license plate number of 7AS3222.
