Police: Odenton Woman Stabbed Her Husband to Death

Donna Mills Wood is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her husband on Nov. 6 in their Seven Oaks home.

Anne Arundel County police have charged an Odenton woman in the stabbing death of her husband in November. 

Donna Mills Wood, 38, surrendered to police on Thursday afternoon after detectives obtained a warrant for her arrest. Police determined that she was responsible for the death of her husband, Jerome Vorden Wood, inside their home on Pine Cove Avenue. 

Wood's husband, Jerome Vorden Wood, died on Nov. 6 from injuries to the upper torso.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death to be caused by stab wounds, and declared it a homicide. The Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office then consulted with police, and decided to pursue first-degree murder charges against Donna Wood.
