Police Seek Men in Severn Kindle Theft
Police said three men stole a man's Kindle e-reader at gunpoint Sunday.

Anne Arundel County police are looking for three men who they say stole a man's Amazon Kindle at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.
According to a police press release, officers responded at about 4 p.m. to the 8300 block of Deerfield Circle in Severn. There, they spoke with a man who said he was reading his Kindle e-reader when two other men came up to him from behind. One of the suspects demanded the Kindle, while the other pushed the victim to the ground and grabbed it, police said. One of the suspects then pulled out a gun, pointed it at the victim and then fired a shot into the ground.
The two suspects ran off and then got into a car driven by a third suspect, police said.

According to police, the victim heard a second gunshot but still chased after the men. The victim tried to grab the Kindle back, but the car sped off, striking him in the legs.
Police said they searched for the suspects, but couldn't find them.

The victim was treated at Baltimore Washington Medical Center for minor injuries.
