Police Seek Public Assistance in Robbery on Rt. 175

Cameras captured photographs of the culprit during the incident off of Annapolis Road.

Anne Arundel County Police are seeking assistance from the public in regards to a bank robbery that occurred Friday at about 11:15 a.m. at the 1st Mariner Bank in Odenton.

A man entered the bank and began shouting verbal commands to bank tellers while announcing the robbery, according to a release from police. He then handed over a bag and demanded the workers fill it with money, which they did, police said.

Cameras throughout the bank were able to photograph the man, but police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man.

Located on the 1600 block of Annapolis Road/Rt. 175, the robbery took place just outside of the Severn town border.
