Police Seek Suspects in Thefts from Gym

Police released photos of two people they said stole credit cards from the Gold's Gym in Crofton and then went on shopping sprees.

Anne Arundel County police have released photos of two people who are being sought in connection with a series of thefts from the Gold's Gym in Crofton. 

Police said they responded to a report of a theft on the evening of Sept. 11, and spoke to someone who reported that their credit card was stolen. Police said a male shown in surveillance video later used the credit cards allegedly to make purchases in Crofton and Bowie. 

Police also responded on the afternoon of Oct. 7 to the gym for a report of a theft. Officers said a woman allegedly stole someone's credit card and later used it to buy items in Crofton. Police said she worked with a male suspect.

Police also released a photo of a silver or gold Chrysler model vehicle that may have been used by the woman. Anyone with information on the incident or those sought in connection with the thefts is asked to contact Detective J.S. Golas of the Western District Detective Unit at 410-222-6155 or Metro Crime Stoppers.
