Police: Toy Gun Used in Severn Robbery
Police said the victims and suspects may have known one another.

Anne Arundel County Police said three men forced their way into a Severn home on Monday night, and one of the suspects may have fired a toy cap gun before stealing a set of keys.
Police said officers responded at about 11:45 p.m. and spoke with two men who said they were outside their home on Reece Road when they were approached by three other men, one of which may have had a gun.Â
The victims said they were forced back into the house and began fighting the suspects. One of the suspects then fired a toy cap gun, before taking a set of car keys and running away toward Pioneer City, police said.Â
Police searched the area with the help of a K9 unit, but could not find the suspects.Â
Police said that a preliminary investigation suggests the suspects and victim knew one another and that it was not a random act of violence.Â
