Post 276 to Host a Morning of Taps to 'Never Forget'
Severn's American Legion post invites residents to assist in showing their support for United States veterans Friday at 9 a.m.

American Legion Post 276 in Severn will "never forget" the soldiers who have died for this country and those who have offered their service.
On Veterans Day , Nov. 11, 2011, members of the post will remember these brave soldiers during a brief ceremony at 9 a.m. at Post 276 on Quarterfield Road. The ceremony will include Color Guard, The Passing of the Flag, a message from the Post Commander and the Post Chaplain—all to be capped with the Sound of TAPS.
will be in attendance and previously served as a sergeant in the Army between 1969 and 1971.
