Ravens Honor Old Mill Football Coach
Chad McCormick was named the Baltimore Ravens coach of the week after Old Mill stayed undefeated with a win over Meade.

The Baltimore Ravens honored the head coach of the Old Mill High football team this week, after the team topped Meade to remain undefeated.
Chad McCormick earned the honor as the Patriots went to 5-0 following a 28-18 win Friday.
The defending state champions have won 19 consecutive games.

“A lot of that comes from a great tradition we’ve built here,” McCormick said in a press release from the Ravens. “It started with the former head coaches I worked under, Mike Marcus and Damian Ferragamo, and we have the tradition and expectation to be successful every year.”
McCormick is now eligible to be named the Ravens High School Coach of the Year, to be awarded at the Ravens-Broncos game on Dec. 16. McCormick also got a $2,000 donation to the school’s football program, an award certificate signed by Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, and a specially-designed Coach of the Week cap.

Old Mill hosts fellow undefeated county rival Arundel this Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
