A Severn man has been arrested on charges that he sexually abused two boys while working at the Fort Meade Youth Center.
Anthony Dennis Williams II, 27, was arrested Tuesday and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Federal prosecutors allege that he communicated with the boys through text messages and social media sites, exchanging sexually explicit photographs and videos.

“Parents must to be relentless about reading children’s text messages and checking their social media accounts,” said U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein in a statement. “Keep your children’s passwords, read all of their incoming and outgoing messages, and take immediate action if they send or receive inappropriate messages.”
According to prosecutors, Williams was employed at the Fort Meade Youth Center and taught a course called Passport 2 Manhood (P2M), a life course for young men. He is accused of carrying out the abuse between 2010 and 2011.
