One of the six suspects involved was arrested Sunday.

A Severn teenager was assaulted and robbed Saturday night after another teen struck him from behind and tried to steal a pair of shoes behind the 8200 block of Severn Orchard Circle, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Police said a group of six walked past the 15-year-old before one of them hit the teenager from behind, knocking him to the ground. Officers specified that the same individual who struck the teen also stole an undisclosed amount of money before unsuccessfully trying to steal the shoes from the victim.

When officers arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m., all the suspects had fled the area, said police.
