Shooting Victim Hospitalized, Severn Homes Damaged By Gunfire: Police
A shooting victim was hospitalized and Severn homes were damaged by gunfire, police said. Officers are still looking for the suspect.

SEVERN, MD — County police think a recent Severn shooting sent a victim to the hospital and damaged nearby homes. Officers expect the victim to survive.
Authorities said they heard several gunshots while patrolling Meade Village last Thursday around 2:30 a.m.
Police said they saw a vehicle speed away, but they could not find the driver or the victim.

Officers said they later learned that a shooting victim was getting treated at an undisclosed hospital nearby. Authorities believe this was the victim shot in the Meade Village neighborhood.
Detectives said they would interview the victim whenever the victim was able.

Police said they found several shell casings on the roadway on Meade Village Circle near Meade Village Road.
Two homes in the 1600 block of nearby Briarwood Court were struck by gunfire, officers said.
Authorities are still investigating.
