Spalding Stumble in IAAM A Soccer Championship Against No. 1 Ranked McDonough
The ladies of the Cavaliers No. 4 ranked soccer team came up short, falling 2-0 to the defending champs.

The Archbishop Spalding girls soccer team fell 2-0 to No. 1 ranked McDonough in the IAAM A Conference Title game Sunday.
Ranked as the fourth best team in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference, the Cavaliers defense was unable to choke the Eagles' high-power attack, resulting in a goal for McDonough in each of the halves.
Spalding went into the game with just six losses and 14 wins, but a determined McDonough team forced the Cavaliers into uncomfortable situations which ultimately led to mistakes, according to Glenn Graham of the Baltimore Sun.
