St. Joseph's Work Campers Arrive in Rochester
Teens from the church are helping to repair homes for the less fortunate.

Young members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Odenton are spending the week in New York, painting houses and making repairs for those in need.
The work campers are spending time in the Rochester, NY area as part of a group sponsored by Group Mission Trips and Action for a Better Community.
The Rochester Democrat reported on the church groups' arrival. About 30 homes were expected to get repairs during the week.
From the Democrat:
Henry Gatson last year had his Flora Street home repainted and his back porch repaired. He was at Sunday’s opening ceremony to make the new set of workers free welcome.
“They’re very well mannered, very nice, and they went the extra mile,” he said. “The only thing they ask for is a little kindness in return.”
