Steakhouse Planned For North Odenton

Odenton residents will be getting a new place to eat some steak and watch some games.

All-American Steakhouse and Sports Theater is planning to open a new restaurant near the corner of Berger Street and Annapolis Road.

The 6,500 square-foot restaurant will be part of the Meade Center project, and developers hope it will encourage other new retail tenants on the site.

Brett Griffith of Baybridge Property Group (formerly Fortis Development) presented plans for the project Tuesday night to the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee.

The committee recommended approval of the plan, and Griffith said financing is in place and the restaurant could break ground in a matter of weeks. 

This would be the sixth location for All-American, which also operates a location in Perry Hall and several in Northern Virginia.

Griffith said the Odenton location could be one of the top-grossing in the chain.

"It should do a monster business at lunch," he said. "Where else is there to go?"
