Town Center Meeting Scheduled for Aug. 5

The committee will finalize its list of capital project priorities.

The Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee will not meet in July, but instead will hold its next meeting on August 5.

The committee has a light agenda for its next session and is not scheduled to review any new development proposals. But it will spend time finalizing its list of capital project priorities, which will be submitted to the county later this year.

The capital project priorities will likely be a list of infrastructure projects that committee members would like to see prioritized by the county. By submitting a list of priorities, the Odenton area could take advantage of millions of dollars of impact fees collected from local developers.

The committee is also expected to work on a draft of its annual report.

The town center meeting is scheduled for August 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Western District Police Station, 8273 Telegraph Rd., Odenton.
