Piney Orchard Board Meeting

When: Monday, 6:30
Where: Piney Orchard Community Center
Details: Hear the latest on the repairs for the roundabout monument, and also get an update on the newly proposed annual budget for the community.  

County Council Meeting

When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: 44 Calvert St., Annapolis
Details:  The council will take up a measure regarding a $5 million gap in school funding. In short, the state says the county fell short of maintenance of effort requirements. The council though the issue had been taken care of. Read our summary of the issue to get caught up.  

Crofton School Redistricting Meeting

When: Tuesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Crofton Elementary School
Details: The committee charged with finding ways to reduce overcrowding at Nantucket Elementary School will vote on a recommendation to redistrict the schools in the area. (Check Patch later Monday or Tuesday for a detailed breakdown of the proposal, which is also available by clicking here.)

Tour West County Expo and Developer Showcase

When: Wednesday, 2-7 p.m.
Where: Village at Odenton Station 
Details: The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will host a bus tour of all the new and upcoming development in the area. The tour is $65 for chamber members. Following the tour, developers and other business leaders will hold an expo. 

Arundel vs. Severna Park Football

When: Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Arundel High School
Details: The Wildcats are still undefeated after a big win against Broadneck and should have an easy time against the Falcons at home. Can they run the table in the county?
