Woman Arrested After Failed Robbery Attempt at Liquor Store
The woman was confronted by the Hanover store's owner, causing her to leave the establishment.

A woman from Washington, DC, was arrested Friday night after she attempted to rob the BWI Liquors store in Hanover, according to police.
Police said Lisa McInerney, 27, took a taxi from Hyattsville earlier in the evening but did not have enough money to pay for the ride. She had the driver pull over in front of the liquor store located on the 7500 block of Connelley Drive where she entered the store demanding money.
Despite threatening that she had a handgun, the store owner challenged McInerney, who left after being confronted, said police.
