Woman Kicked by Horse, Sent to Shock Trauma

A 72-year-old woman suffered serious injuries Monday night when she was kicked by a horse in Hanover.

According to Anne Arundel Fire Department spokesman Lt. Cliff Kooser, the incident took place around 6:20 p.m. on the 8200 block of Ohio Avenue in Hanover.

Kooser was unable to say if the woman owned the horse or what type of injuries were sustained by the 72-year-old. Kooser also said the woman was sent to Shock Trauma but her injuries were not life threatening.
