3 Dogs Rescued In Reisterstown During Tropical Depression Ida

A special call for service in Reisterstown added some K-9s to the patrols in the Franklin Precinct.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Three dogs were reunited with their owners after police and community members intervened in Reisterstown.

The dogs were loose around Treeline Drive at Baskerville Road Wednesday morning, as the region was bracing for Tropical Depression Ida.

Officers from the Franklin Precinct found and safely secured all three dogs, who were soaking wet when they were brought into custody, according to police.

After being taken to Baltimore County Animal Services for an evaluation, officials said they were reunited with their owner.
