Powers served on the BOC Board from 2010 to 2018 and 2020 to 2023, lending expertise from a career spanning over three decades in the U.S. Air Force, followed by employment with the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association and the American Nurses Association (ANA). These efforts continue to shape BOC’s strategic direction.

“For me, service has always been about ensuring businesses are positioned to meet the needs of the people they support, both now and in the future,” said Powers. “It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by BOC, and I’m proud to have contributed to the organization’s past, present and future health.”
