Deer Struck by Car Crashes Into Second Car, Killing Man in Owings Mills

A Baltimore man was killed after a deer struck by another car crashes through his windshield.

A Baltimore man was killed after a deer was struck by another car and crashed through the man's windshield Thursday, according to Baltimore County police.

Police responded to a crash report at 2:39 p.m. near Garrison Forest Road and Rosewood Lane in Owings Mills. A woman was headed south on Garrison Forest Road in a Saturn Outlook SUV when a deer ran into the roadway.

Her SUV struck the deer, which then hit a northbound Honda Civic. The deer went through the Civic's windshield, killing the deer and the driver, according to police.

The SUV's driver stopped and called police. She was treated for minor injuries at the scene, according to police.

Police identified the driver as Daniel Mark Fisher, 56, of the 2500 block of Wetherburn Road. Police are investigating the incident.
