Glyndon Restaurant Mia Carolina Closes

Mia Carolina, the Glyndon Italian restaurant and wine shop, has closed.

The Baltimore Sun reports the restaurant ended service Sunday.

"We couldn't sell it and we couldn't sustain it,” owner Jay Cohen told the paper. He bought the restaurant, the former Mezzanotte Bistro, in 2005 and renovated the space in 2007.

A 2011 Patch feature noted the restaurant's "[w]hite table cloths, an extended wine list and delicious traditional cuisine."
