JAILED: Baltimore County Police Charge Man with Killing Wife, Burning House

A 41-year-old Reisterstown man is being held without bail on charges that he killed his wife and then burned down their house last month.

Anthony Paul Rutherford, of Fox Run Court, is accused of killing Kendra Michelle Rutherford, 35, on Dec. 8, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Firefighters found Kendra Rutherford unresponsive in the burning house and took her to Northwest Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, the paper reported. An autopsy later found she had been asphyxiated, the Sun reported.

Anthony Rutherford is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder and arson, the paper reported.
