Boordy Vineyards Launches Sustainable Happy Hour

The Hydes winery takes a unique approach to a popular after-work tradition.

The Baltimore metro area has no shortage of bars and restaurants offering happy hour. Now, a local winery is joining the mix.

Today Boordy Vineyards kicks off 'Good Life Thursdays,' a weekly event that combines dinner, drinks and music with the local produce you'd expect from a farmer's market, according to its website.

The Hydes winery, located just up Harford Road on Long Green Pike, is hosting the sustainable happy hour from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays until Sept. 6, the website states.
