Greater Parkville Community Council Meeting Tonight
Lavender Avenue parking lot is on the agenda.

The Greater Parkville Community Council will meet this evening, 7 p.m. at the Parkville Recreation and Senior Center, 8601 Harford Road. Meetings are open to the public.
GPCC board members are planning to give an update on the Baltimore County Revenue Authority’s continuing plans to sell the Lavender Avenue Parking Lot in Parkville.
"This is an important time in our efforts to save the lot from being sold. Many residents and business owners feel the parking lot is essential to the future stability of the Parkville “Main Street” Business District," said Ruth Baisden, president of the organization, in a recent email.
In addition, the scheduled guest speaker is Ed Adams, Director of Baltimore County Public Works. Adams will present an overview of the Department of Public Works and address community concerns relating to: traffic engineering, infrastructure, highways, solid waste management and county facilities.
Please note that the meeting will be canceled if public schools are closed or dismissed early due to weather conditions.
