Temperatures were above freezing in Parkville-Overlea this afternoon, but that didn't stop the snow from falling — or sticking to the ground, trees, cars and whatever else happened to be convenient.
The National Weather Service reported a temperature of 36 degrees, with a high of 38 today. It looks like this will be the last snow for at least a little while; temperatures will stay above the freezing point this weekend, and it looks like the National Weather Service is calling for rain, not snow, through Sunday.
Flakes stopped falling by about 1:35 p.m., but it was a fun preview of things to come while it lasted.
