Attempted Kidnapping In Baltimore County Prompts Arrest: Police

PARKVILLE, MD — A man was accused of trying to kidnap children in Parkville, police said Monday.

Officers said they arrested Cameron Keelan, 19, and charged him with attempted kidnapping.

Authorities said they were called Thursday to the 8300 block of Edgedale Road for a report of a suspicious person.

Police said a male subject approached three young children and tried to persuade them to follow him away from the location.

Officers said Keelan is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
