White Marsh Mall To Host COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics For Kids
The Baltimore County Health Department is offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics for kids at the former Sears in White Marsh Mall.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The Baltimore County Health Department is offering clinics for children to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Three clinics are planned, from Friday to Monday, at the former Sears in the White Marsh Mall.
Kids 5 to 11 years old are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine, after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday authorized use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children.
Baltimore County received 8,700 doses of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine as an initial allocation for first and second shots, according to Baltimore County Health Officer Dr. Gregory Wm. Branch.

"This latest approval by the FDA and the CDC helps bring us closer to protecting the entire family against COVID," Branch said in a statement.
“I know parents across Baltimore County – myself included – are breathing a sigh of relief knowing we can give our children the critical protection provided by the vaccine,” County Executive Johnny Olszewski said. “Our staff have been working diligently to prepare for this next phase of our vaccination effort, a critical step toward safely getting our kids back to all the things they’ve been missing.”
