Baltimore Co. Students Stranded After Bus Driver-Coach Argument, Parents Allege
Parents said the incident occurred Tuesday night in Hereford, according to a report.
TOWSON, MD — A Baltimore County high school wrestling team was left stranded after their bus driver refused to drive them home following a confrontation with a coach, according to a report.
Parents confirmed the incident in interviews with Fox Baltimore, stating the team from Sparrows Point High School was in Hereford for a meet on Tuesday when the contracted bus driver refused to drive them back following the alleged argument.
In a statement sent to Fox Baltimore, school officials said they were aware of the incident and that the driver worked for a third-party company.

A spokesperson said district officials met with Blue Heron representatives “to review and reinforce expectations, policies, and procedures.” It remains unclear whether the driver will face disciplinary action.
