Baltimore County Schools Change Schedule For Feb. 6

Baltimore County Public Schools have changed the schedule for Thursday, Feb. 6, as ice and sleet move in. Here's the latest.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — With a mix of freezing rain and sleet expected overnight into Thursday morning, all Baltimore County Public Schools and offices will operate under a two-hour delay Thursday, Feb. 6.

Due to forecasted inclement weather, Baltimore County public schools and offices will open two hours late, the district said Wednesday night.

There will be no morning PreKindergarten classes.

District officials said they will reevaluate this decision and provide any updates to the operational status by 7 a.m.

A winter weather advisory is in place for most of the Baltimore-Washington metro area. The advisory lasts from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Thursday.
