Baltimore County Schools Make Snow Decision With Slushy Storm Looming
Baltimore County schools made a weather decision with snow squalls possible Friday. The wintry mix could stymie the evening commute.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools will close two hours early on Friday with a slushy winter storm heading toward Maryland.
All after-school and evening activities are also canceled. School and central offices will remain open. There is no afternoon pre-Kindergarten.
BCPS announced the news on X, formerly Twitter, just after 10 a.m.

Brief snow squalls are possible, but minimal accumulation is expected. Isolated areas north of Baltimore could see an inch or two. Snowfall should last one to three hours, drawing a winter weather advisory from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Precipitation returns Monday, with 3 inches of snow likely.
