Boy Shot Outside Essex Business: Police
A boy was shot outside a Baltimore County business, police said. The suspect was taken into custody.

ESSEX, MD — A boy was shot in front of an Essex business, police said this weekend.
Officers announced late Sunday morning that they were called to the 1700 block of Eastern Boulevard for an assault at the undisclosed business.
Authorities said they received another call as they arrived from somebody saying they had been shot.

Police said they found a juvenile male nearby suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took the victim to a hospital, a press release said.

Officers said the suspect in the shooting remained on the scene and was taken into custody.
Authorities did not release the suspect's name or say if they were charged.
