1 Injured In Rollover Crash On I-95 Near White Marsh: Officials

A crash Thursday morning on Interstate 95 caused backups in both directions and injured one person, officials said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Backups lasted more than an hour on Interstate 95 Thursday morning near White Marsh due to a crash.

One person was taken to a local trauma hospital as a result of the collision, which required a rescue after the vehicle flipped on its roof, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.

The crash was reported after 9:45 a.m. on I-95 north past the exit for MD 43/White Marsh Boulevard, according to state transportation officials.

Southbound traffic was also impacted as emergency vehicles responded.

Three left lanes were closed on I-95 north, officials reported. The left shoulder was also closed on I-95 south near mile marker 68.6, authorities said after 10 a.m.

By 11:30 a.m., officials reported the crash had cleared.
