Crash Closed I-695 At Belair Road: State Highway Administration

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Multiple vehicles crashed on the inner loop of Interstate 695 Monday, closing the Baltimore beltway just as rush hour got underway.

All lanes of I-695 were closed on the inner loop at Belair Road, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported before 5 p.m.

It appeared traffic was getting by in the far left lane and on the shoulder.

By 5:45 p.m., authorities said three right lanes were closed.
