We asked Baltimore County residents where they’d take their long-weekend lodgers. Here’s a list of the best eats and awesome activities in your neighborhood:

  • "My parents like to go to Pappas. (We moved out of Perry Hall in 1988. This is where they like to go when they come up from St. Mary's County.)"

If these suggestions don’t make the mark, take your guests on Maryland’s Best “Ice Cream Trail” Passport Challenge!

From May 20 to Sept. 23, ice cream lovers are invited to visit each of Maryland’s nine dairy farms, try the ice cream, and answer a dairy-themed trivia question. Each visit earns a passport stamp.

Get all nine stamps, mail them in, and a select number of passports will be picked from the lot and awarded prizes.
