Kamenetz Confirms Construction Funding of Perry Hall Dog Park
After months of fund-raising a local group achieves its goal of a dog park at Honeygo Regional Park.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz Wednesday confirmed funding for a dog park to be built in Perry Hall after months of fund-raising from a local advocacy group.
"This park will add yet another important recreational amenity in the Perry Hall community," said Kamenetz in a release. "It is very impressive that the community demonstrated its support for the project by raising $20,000 in private funds to support construction. I look forward to joining members of the community when we cut the ribbon for the park in the next few months."
The county's fourth dog park will be built at Honeygo Regional Park in Perry Hall and will be operated in part by the Perry Paw Dog Park committee under the Perry Hall Recreation Council.
"This dog park would be not possible without the support of volunteers who raised more than $20,000 in private donations," County Councilman David Marks said. "I have strongly supported this project because there was private sector support, and because animal lovers have every right to recreation space as those who use ballfields, picnic areas, and trails."
