Restaurant Replacing Greene Turtle Under Construction At White Marsh Mall
This restaurant is replacing The Greene Turtle at the White Marsh Mall. Spanning 5,900 square feet, it's among several new mall eateries.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — Construction is underway on a sushi restaurant at the White Marsh Mall.
Kanji Sushi will soon replace The Greene Turtle, which closed by late 2023.
The new eatery will span 5,934 square feet. It will have entrances from the food court and the outside of the mall. Permits call for new kitchen equipment and updated fixtures.

The permits were issued in November 2024, and they expire a year later. Construction is still in its early stages, so there is not yet an estimated opening date.

The Original Pancake House opened recently in the space previously occupied by Red Robin in the food court.
Lula Mae's Gardin, a southern eatery, was open in the food court by December 2024. It was closed temporarily, but it reopened this month.
When Patch visited the mall on April 12, there was a coming soon sign for a Sbarro pizza stand in the food court.
That day, there was also a sign advertising that Perfume World was coming to the second floor between Kay Jewelers and Charlotte Russe.
