Man Dead After Being Trapped Under Own Vehicle In Pikesville: Police

PIKESVILLE, MD — A man who was accidentally trapped under his own vehicle died this weekend in Pikesville, authorities said.

The Baltimore County Police Department said it was called Saturday around 8 p.m. to Penny Lane and Smith Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Officers and firefighters said they found the man unconscious and pinned beneath the vehicle.

First responders said they removed the victim and started life-saving efforts, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified the victim as 64-year-old Stephen Jay Frank.
