Naz’s Halal To Open In Nottingham

A new eatery is opening near the White Marsh Mall.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — A business that started as a food truck and has since expanded across multiple states will soon have a presence in Nottingham.

Naz’s Halal has installed furniture and is now hiring for its eatery in White Marsh Plaza, the shopping center that also houses Giant off Honeygo Boulevard.

The restaurant specializes in Halal food, meaning dishes have been created a certain way that adheres to Islamic law outlined in the Koran. Items on the menu include things like lamb gyro, chicken over rice and baklava.

Naz’s Halal started in New York in 2009 as a food truck in Queens, N.Y., and opened its first brick and mortar location in 2016. Since then, it has grown into a franchise spanning multiple states. Other locations in Maryland are Ellicott City, Germantown and Burtonsville.

Patch reached out to Naz’s Halal for an estimated opening date but has not received a response.
