Police Charge 2 Boys in Safeway Cell Phone Theft
A woman was robbed by two boys at the Perry Hall Safeway last week.

Baltimore County police have charged two boys in the theft of a cell phone snatched from a woman's hands at the Perry Hall Safeway--one in a spate of such incidents in the Perry Hall area.
Lt. David Naimaster of the White Marsh Precinct said officers distributed a photograph of one of the suspects, taken from surveillance camera footage, and an officer in Towson immediately recognized one of the boys.
Officers tracked down the boy at his home near the border of Parkville and Towson and questioned him about the incident. The boy said his friend, a Perry Hall juvenile, stole the phone and pushed the woman in the Perry Hall Safeway, police said.
The boy told police he did not know ahead of time that his friend was going to rob the woman.
Police have not yet recovered the stolen iPhone 5, estimated to be valued at $800.
Both boys were charged with theft and robbery.
