Road Closure To Last 3 To 4 Hours On Joppa Road: Officials

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An emergency road repair is underway at an intersection in Baltimore County, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.

Work at the intersection of Joppa Road and Perring Parkway will be completed in about three to four hours, officials reported after 1:45 p.m.

With the closure to last until about 5 p.m. on Joppa Road from Waltham Woods Road to Perring Parkway, the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association offered some detours:

• Take eastbound Joppa Road to southbound Perring Parkway
• Take westbound Joppa Road to Waltham Woods Road, go left on Perring Parkway and right back to Joppa

A signal pole is being removed, according to WBAL.
