Weather Decision Made For Baltimore Co. Public Schools On Jan. 6

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — All Baltimore County Public Schools and offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 6, because of the incoming winter storm expected to bring close to a foot of snow to parts of the state.

Employees deemed essential must report on time for their assigned shift or may request from the appropriate supervisor to use leave time. “Essential as needed” employees will report to work as directed or may request from the appropriate supervisor to use leave time, the district said.

Information about school operations is announced publicly as soon as possible on local radio and television stations and other media, including online, the district says.
