Chicken Finger Restaurant Opening 1st MD Locations
This nationwide chicken finger restaurant is opening its first Maryland eateries. These seven towns are getting a location.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — A quick-service chicken finger restaurant headquartered in Atlanta plans to open its first Maryland locations this year.
Zaxbys is working on eateries in Nottingham and Rosedale, its first locations in Baltimore County. Plans are also underway for restaurants in Glen Burnie and Ellicott City, marking the chain's break into Anne Arundel and Howard Counties.
The first openings are expected by the end of 2025. The eateries will all have 12 signature sauces.

"Baltimore offers an incredible opportunity for us," Zaxbys Chief Development Officer Mike Mettler said in a press release.
Zaxbys is also coming to the Eastern Shore, with the first location opening this year in Cambridge and additional eateries following in Easton and the Berlin-West Ocean City area.

The company is still vetting sites, so the exact addresses are not yet known.
Baltimore-based Lattakia Group LLC will operate the four new franchises debuting in the Charm City suburbs.
"We believe strongly in Zaxbys mission to deliver high-quality food that truly resonates with guests," a representative of Lattakia Group LLC said in the release. "The brand's dedication to quality and its focus on community perfectly aligns with our own values. We're excited to introduce this beloved concept to our hometown in the coming years and to help create a dining experience that brings people together while contributing to local growth."
Zaxbys lauded Lattakia Group's "proven franchising success and deep community ties."
"We're confident they'll help us introduce Zaxbys to local residents and support our continued momentum across the area," Mettler said. "This marks the beginning of our presence in Baltimore and nearby communities."
Franchisees Curtis and Teresa Snyder will operate the Eastern Shore locations alongside Thomas Mitchell, The MoCo Show reported.
The East Coast is an expansion priority for Zaxbys. Additional locations are in the works for Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York City.
Zaxbys was founded in 1990 in Statesboro, Georgia by college-aged friends Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley. The business now has over 970 locations in 17 states.
