Cecil County 2021 Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Meeting Invitation

Elkton, MD: The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services will hold a public meeting on Monday, October 4th, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will take place via Zoom Videoconference, to solicit input and discuss the County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. This plan defines goals and actions that can be taken to mitigate impacts from a variety of hazards, including flooding, within the County. Every five years the County is required to update these plans.

Staff members from the County’s Department of Emergency Services will be on hand, as well as Vision Planning & Consulting, LLC, to explain the update process, to answer any questions, and to gather public comments.
