Covid-19 testing site establish in North East, Md.

NORTH EAST, Md. - A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site operated by Omnipoynt Solutions will open at Cecil College, One Seahawk Drive, North East MD, on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

This site will be open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted. This site will remain in operation until further notice.

Individuals will receive two tests, one rapid test with results available in about 15 minutes and one PCR test that will provide a confirmatory lab result within 48-72 hours. Results of the PCR test will be emailed to the individual.

Tests are provided at no cost to the individual, however, individuals should bring their insurance card, or if they are uninsured, bring a government-issued ID. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Individuals should remain in their cars at all times and wear a mask.
