Local Company Named Finalist for 2014 Housewares Design Awards

The Omelette Maker from LeKue was selected as a Finalist for the Cookware & Bakeware category in the prestigious 2014 Housewares Design Awards.  This means that it is in the running for the “Best of the Best” Awards that will be given to the best housewares products of the year at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

The Housewares Design Awards is the industry’s premier independent awards competition.  Winners will be announced at the Housewares Design Awards presentation ceremony and luncheon on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Made of platinum silicone, the Lékué omelette maker can serve a cooked omelet in minutes, according to the company. Naturally non-stick and dishwasher safe, the omelette maker works in the microwave oven in just two minutes, one minute on each side; neither a pan nor spatula are needed.
