Nancy Tyler Provides Compassionate Care For Others' Kids
Nancy Tyler of Perrysville has been nominated as a community leader for her work as a foster care provider and daycare provider.

PERRYVILLE, MD — Without community leaders, Perryville wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.
Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.
This submission comes from Tammy Evans, a Perryville reader who wrote this nomination of Nancy Tyler.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
Nancy has spent 32 years as a licensed professional child care provider serving her community and the surrounding Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania areas. She was their president of the Cecil County Child Care Association for 15 years and she also worked with Cecil County foster care for years to see that children were cared for during the meetings for parents and workers. Also, she has served her church, the Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, in the children's ministry for 15 years. Children are the love of her life and as a sibling of 11, she's lived in Cecil County all her life.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
She's very loving and caring and a dedicated worker in her community.
