Report: Bench Warrant Issued in Perryville Drug Case

A Cecil County judge issued a bench warrant Monday for a North Carolina man facing sentencing for a Perryville-area heroin possession conviction, according to a report.

Alterick Wallisima Boyd, 37, of Grimesland, NC, faces up to 13 years in prison after his December guilty plea on possession of heroin with intent to distribute, CecilDaily.com reported. Prosecutors dropped five related charges as part of a plea agreement, according to the report.
