CHANA, the Counseling, Helpline, & Aid Network for Abused Women, has joined Jewish Women International in honoring the 45,000 women and children who will spend Mother’s Day in battered women’s shelters.
According to a news release from CHANA, "Through the annual Mother’s Day Flower Project, JWI will send bouquets of flowers, as well as beauty products from OPI Products, Inc. to 200 shelters across the United States."
And the organization encourages Pikesville Patch readers to participate and "provide hope for these families on this special day."
