
The Sewing Fun Club at Winand Elementary School is teaching students the art of sewing.
They learn how to use a sewing machine and create crafts, as a precursor to having the skills to sew clothing, according to a news release from Baltimore County Public Schools.
Club members recently finished making an alphabet-letter throw pillow.

Now, they are creating aprons for themselves, and will then make a project that will be donated to The House of Ruth and a homeless shelter.
